Founded in 1984, S.P.Lakhani Associates (formerly Lakhani Associates), is a premier Architectural and Interior Designing consultancy group, headed by Principal Designer Suresh P. Lakhani, with offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Over the course of nearly four decades, S.P.Lakhani Associates has carved a reputation as a dynamic, analytical and a reliable firm, articulating a progressive design and development vision.

Our firm has successfully designed and executed an eclectic mix of projects ranging from apartments, gated communities, private villas to commercial areas, hospitals, retail spaces, restaurants and hospitality projects. Location has never been a barrier for us—our projects have spanned across Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mangalore, etc. We believe in forging lasting relationships with our clients, and our designs reflect the sentiment.

Suresh Lakhani - Founder & Principal Designer

Suresh P. Lakhani has more than 35 years of experience in the field of Architecture and Interior Designing, backed by formal education from the L.S.Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai. With a keen sense of aesthetics and an eye for detail, Suresh enjoys bringing client’s aspirations to reality with precision and flair. He believes that his practical experience, construction & technical expertise and problem-solving approach helps him achieve timely deliveries of projects and enhances client satisfaction. His innate ability to think on his feet and resolve issues through quick and on-the-spot solutions has been praised and appreciated by clients.

His style of designing is distinctive, with focus on the artistic use of colors and textures to bring out warmth and sophistication of a space. He believes in transforming abstract design ideas into tangible forms with his unique design skills. Design is always on his mind and he loves to explore new materials & experiment with different techniques to generate creative ideas for the next project.

Chanchal Lakhani - Architect

Chanchal Lakhani graduated from Mumbai University in 2013, armed with a professional degree in Architecture. Her final year thesis on a 400-bedded Multispecialty Hospital, sparked a growing affiliation towards Healthcare Architecture and design. In order to pursue this specific interest, she worked as a Project Architect with Shashi Prabhu & Associates, one of the most renowned Healthcare Architects in India. In the four years that she worked with the firm, she had planned and designed some of their most ambitious projects in Mumbai including Bhagwati Hospital, Govandi Hospital, Valiance Orthopaedic Hospital and Diagnostic centres, Bombay Gymkhana, etc.

Chanchal believes that a good design has a positive influence on the wellness of its users and has the power to bring harmony to everyday living. She is guided by the principle that a well-executed design does not stand out, but blends-in with the space and objects to create an environment that inspires the user. She believes that her unwavering work ethic, good communication skills and enthusiasm to extend creative design solutions helps her deliver successful projects for her clients.

Aishwarya Lakhani - Interior Designer

Aishwarya Lakhani completed her diploma course from Dr. Baliram Hiray Institute of Design in the year 2016. Soon after, she has worked with one of the most reputed firms in India, Architect Shashi Prabhu & Associates, where she had the opportunity to be a part of planning, designing & tendering for some of the brilliant commercial as well as residential projects in Mumbai; one of which was the Garware Club House.

Aishwarya has always been a fervent designer and engages in providing a balance between aesthetic and functional aspects that are involved in designing a space. She is also known for her keen attention to detail and project management skills.

She is an avid fan of Dieter Rams, Don Norman, Neri Oxman and their work. She loves babbling on topics like design-thinking and the future of human-centered design. When she is not working, she is occupied creating illustrations, reading or playing the guitar.
